Ok so after putting it up nearly 2 years ago, here is my review of its use.
I put the cover on first but threw away the supplied anchor bolts and replaced with 10mm ones.
I bolted 2 in the back and the other 8 in the middle plate, but had to drill bigger holes to accommodate the bigger anchor bolts.
We live in wales and we definitely do get strong winds, rain and general crap weather.
Recently I made the mistake of putting heavy concrete blocks on the front to hold the base down in the 100mph wind. That was my downfall, as it had survived several storms up until that.
The metal front beam on the floor was rubbing the concrete due to the blocks and high wind, tearing the cover off, and the wind doing the rest of the damages.
In general it's a sturdy, well built tent, I dont like the side vents as people love lifting them up and being nosey, however a quick stitch up on the velcro stops them flapping about in the wind.
I put a waterproof electric box in there with my battery tender and ran other end to house mains, never had an issue or tripped out rca.
Waterproof.. yes, however condensation as rain ran down the drive and condensation on the inside so a cheap cover over the bike like tarp stops that hitting the bike.
Would I recommend, yes definitely, except I'd look into changing the security at the front as its easily lifted up to gain entry, again in stopped that with a garage door defender so the bar stops it being lifted, but if it can not be lifted in 4 x 80 - 100mph storms until I messed up then hey my idea works. It also stops the bike being ridden out as the defender would hit the sump, so that's a good investment if you buy one.
So to recap, good build quality, stormproof, not great security but it's a tent after all, and waterproof. 8 out of 10 for the security issue, but strength I'd have to say 10 out of 10.
Just purchased a replacement cover as mine shredded due to me putting blocks on the front bar to the floor, but cheap enough and another 2 years plus peace of mind.
